Rabbits have always been common pets, but there has been a shift in the way they are nurtured and valued by their owners. Once perhaps considered replaceable, these little companions are now loved family members and the expectation is that most of their medical and surgical needs can be met in general practice.

Dental disease is one of the most common conditions seen in rabbits. This workshop is intended to equip clinicians with the knowledge and skills to confidently approach, diagnose and treat these cases. Presentations will discuss important aspects of rabbit dentistry including anatomy, radiography, instrumentation, dealing with complications and post operative care.

The practical sessions will provide the opportunity to practice radiography and common dental procedures under the guidance of your two expert tutors, ABVP diplomates Dr David Vella and Dr Joanne Sheen.
