Be part of a great spinning event in aid of charity.

The Beeld Childrens Fund is raising money to help children in need. Your support is needed.

These are abused and abandoned children, also those in very poor communities. We support projects to keeping children safe, providing care, food, educational support and skills development.

General information
Come cycle on the rhythm of great music with many other participants and enjoy the wonderful vibe of this great event!

Each participant will receive a goodie bag, water and energy products, etc.

It is a great event where individuals and teams can cycle in safety, in a lovely atmosphere, with great music and support children in need.

The Spinning marathon how it works

The marathon is a 6 hour event,
starting at 0800 until 1400
Instructors will lead each session.
6 sessions of 50 minutes each, with a
10 minute break in between.
Each session will start on the hour
Individuals and teams may take part
Individuals may book single sessions,
and pay per session.
Teams each team gets one spinning
cycle for the day, and team members
participate on a relay basis.
A team consist of minimum 2 and
maximum 6 persons.

Participate in one of the following Categories

Category 1. Team entry
Teams consist of 2 to 6 persons, teams have one bike for the day and participate on a relay basis.
Team fee R 1260.
Please complete the entry form for teams.

Please consider to sponsor a team from a childrens home to take part, team fee is the same.
You are encouraged to challenge other teams and companies to take part in this event.

Category 2 Individuals
Individual entries. You can book single sessions R210 per person per session. Please complete the entry form for individuals and book your sessions in advance.

Category 3 Individuals 6-hour challenge
In this category individuals participate for the full 6 hours, and get sponsored per hour. Your sponsor will receive an invoice from the Beeld Childrens Fund for the amount due, which is payable within 7 days after the marathon.
Minimum sponsorship R1260.00
We will provide donation forms on request.

Sponsorship opportunities
1. We need any promotional items towels, pens, caps, foam caps, anything
2. Sponsor the team fee for a team from the Bramley Childrens Home R 1260 per team.
3. Sponsor individuals for the 6-hour challenge.
4. Cash sponsorships. Companies that sponsors R10,000 or more have the right to branding at the event, and their logos will be placed on advertisements for the event in Beeld, on posters and flyers, and email campaigns.
5. Cash sponsors will receive a 18A certificate for tax purposes.
All big sponsors will receive a taxdeductible certificate from Beeld Childrens Fund, as well as a BBBEE letter certificate and branding opportunities.

Beeld Childrens Fund is a fundraising organization which exists since 1977, from which thousands of children benefits every year. Our mission is to raise funds to help underprivileged, disabled and abused children in the spheres of emergency relief, education and life enrichment. The monies raised by the Beeld Childrens Fund are used to sponsor the services of many different welfare organizations that serve children in need of care.

We are a registered NPO and PBO. Audited financial statements are available. Our target for this years Spinning marathon is to raise R300,000, which will be used for the development of children in rural areas, where resources are scarce and children need lots of help to get school ready, also to help scholars with schoolwork, homework and skills development.
