...launches 4 4 project in support of Governor Oyetola
A popular socio-political group in Osun State, Aseyori Progressive Forum on Tuesday, June 22 celebrated her one year anniversary with eminent speakers dissecting the role of Nigerian youths in the development of the nation.
The event which was attended by distinguished government functionaries also featured the official launching of 4 4 project in support of the second term bid of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
Aseyori Progressive Forum was founded by Fajobi Olusanjo Fajoe as a sub-group of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.
The event which held at Delightful Gold Hotel, Onibu Eja, Ido Osun was graced by important personalities including Hon. Abiodun Awolola, former Chairman, Committee on Works and Transport, Osun State House of Assembly Alhaja Fausiat Folake Olaniyan, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Omeals Bar. Kola Olabi, Media Consultant to the Governor Hon. Samson Owoyokun, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties.
The Forum passed a vote of confidence on Governor Oyetola, describing him as a talk and do governor.
You will all agree with me that our Principal Adegboyega Oyetola is a talk and do Governor who believes that success and the yearnings and aspirations of the people must not be treated with kid gloves, I hereby appeal to all youth to give him our support wholeheartedly, Forum Founder, Fajobi Olusanjo Fajoe said.
He added The purpose of our gathering today is to celebrate the one year anniversary of the group and to launch our support to the 44 project of our amiable governor, Alh Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola.
The state under the leadership of Gov. Oyetola has spent N900m in the fight against COVID-19 since late March - when the state first recorded a case, distribution of food items to 30,000 vulnerable across the state every month and also, feeding of primary schools pupils across the state through Home Grown Feeding Programme Omeals is an achievement to reckon with. Over 250 Primary Healthcare Centers have been revitalized across the state in the last two years.
The administration of Oyetola has constructed over 480.341Km roads comprising Contract-Executed, Direct Labour Execution, Public Private Partnership and Collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Works Road Projects in the state.
Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has restated the commitment of his administration to fine-tune the Youth Policy Agenda, in order to guarantee the education, empowerment and emancipation of young ones through policy which dwells on 4Es, namely Youth Education, Youth Engagement, Youth Empowerment and Youth Entrepreneurship.
Osun Commissioner for Youths and Sports represented by Comr. Ayotunde and Mr. Akande Saheed were guest speakers at the event.
The Aseyori Progressive Forum team also visited the Alayemore Palace in Ido Osun, just as it donated some health care materials to primary health centres in Ofatedo and Ido Osun.
