I am so incredibly blessed to be rooted in my lineage, with a guide that showers me with blessings, guidance, support, and tools to shed the walls that keep me locked in suffering. When I need to be reminded of my softness, I seek his counsel. When I have a student myself that I am not sure how to serve, I am invited into the library of his wisdom. His walk is different, but it is so very similar. And to have someone who to carry the flashlight and show me the way when I am lost, or overwhelmed, or defeated, or unsure, or for a moment doubt my capacity or power - is a blessing that brings me to tears. Every single time I sit back down at the ashram here in India after a year of my life unfolding with the sweet and difficult lessons of this life - and he walks in the room to offer a teaching - the tears fall. I feel held. I feel seen. I feel understood and invited to step into more power, more purity, more service. I feel so much love, devotion, and commitment to MYSELF.
Thank you, life, for bringing me a guide that has laid down the foundation for my ability to serve others. That has shared the teachings that are the base for what it is that I offer the world. May I drink deeply from the wisdom of my own master as I offer unto others. May I stay rooted in my lineage. May I stay humble. And may I be for my students what my teacher has been for me.
