We are very excited to announce that we will be learning from one of the most influential leaders in the civil society space.

Elizabeth Talatu, has eight years of experience in the development sector with specialist knowledge of project management, policy analysis and advocacy, financial management, behavioural change communication, and research. Her expertise has seen her manage projects mainly focused on SRHR, FGMC, Family Planning, HIVAIDs, SGBV and Health Tech. She is the Founder and Executive Director of sidinitiative and the National Coordinator of afriyanng Nigeria.
Elizabeth served as a panellist at the UNGA side event organised by ICRW and UNFPA in New York, advocating for girls rights in the post-2015 SDGs. She was also named by Global Citizen as one of 6 Young Activists in Africa Working To Save The World. She is a 2018 CYFI Fellow, 2019 SLDF Fellow, 2020 Women Deliver Young Leader and a finalist of the Nigeria Prize for Difference Diversity by the Future Awards Africa. Elizabeth is a 2021 Chevening Scholar studying MSc. International Development at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.

She will be drawing from her depth of experience to highlight critical aspects of youth leadership. Young people will be empowered with essential leadership skills they require to excel in the civil societydevelopment sector.
