I woke up like I always did, the sound of mother and father chatting in the kitchen, the tea kettle whistling, and the coffee machine whirring. My eyes fluttered open, the blurry world slowly coming into view, which for me was strange. I had needed glasses since I was a toddler. I got sick as a baby and lost part of my vision and have needed special glasses ever since, but suddenly my vision was perfectly clear. Even though I couldnt see well growing up, my hearing and sense of smell made up for it by leaps and bounds. I looked around my room, it had grey walls, and a large white bookcase, and dresser. My bedside tables were also white matching the bed frame. I had my large sage green comforter on my bed, and there was a small writing desk in the corner, I focused on the outfit laid out on my desk. Today was the day, the last day of high school, my graduation, and my 18th birthday. I couldnt believe it, my whole world was falling into perspective, I couldnt wait to get this day over with, tomorrow starts my first day as an adult and my friends and I had planned a mini vacation to New York. Damon is a huge fan of Broadway Musicals and has always wanted to go to New York and see one in person. Ripley and I had planned this for the day after graduation and its going to be amazing to finally tell Damon where were going tomorrow. I rubbed my eyes and swung my legs around, dangling them off the side of the bed. My feet were so high off the ground, not that I could do anything about that, Ive always been too short for this bed. I slid off the side, landing on my feet with a soft thud, and my mom yelled up to me, Ashlyn since youre awake hurry down, breakfast is ready!

Coming, I yelled back to her as I walked tiredly into the bathroom that was connected to my room. It had white walls with a grey wooden backsplash against the sink. The sink had grey cabinets and draws and a white marble top. I grabbed my toothbrush, and started brushing my teeth and my hair, then swiftly tied my long light brown hair into a ponytail so I didnt have to fix it. I walked back out of my bathroom and into my room, grabbing the outfit I laid out the night before. White wool stockings, a sage green sun dress covered in white flowers with yellow dots in the middle of them, my white combat boots, and my white cardigan. I quickly got dressed and tied a matching green ribbon into my hair over the pony tail holder. I walked back into the bathroom and my eyes flickered black then back to their original green color, with the yellow specks around the pupils. I moved closer to the mirror and as I did they flickered black again, and I heard a soft voice in my head. Happy Birthday, and congratulations on graduating little one. The voice said and just as quickly as it came it was gone.

I looked around scared out of my mind before my mom yelled again, Your food will get cold if you dont come eat it soon Ashlyn Juniper! She sounded more annoyed than before.

That alone pulled me out of my own head I grabbed my purse, which was a white flower shaped bag, and my phone checking it as I ran downstairs. My friends both wished me a happy birthday, my mom made a post about me not being a baby anymore. I swear she was so emotional!

I walked down into the kitchen it was another grey room with white cabinets and black marble countertops, there was a black and grey marble backsplash on the wall behind the sink. I hurriedly grabbed the toast as it was coming out of the toaster Sorry mom! I was getting ready! I said sitting down next to my dad, he had short red hair, deep brown eyes, and freckles all over his face. I guess we were similar in that. He stood around 60 and was very lanky. My mom had deep black hair, and blue eyes, her hair fell a little past her shoulders, whereas mine was all the way down to my butt. She was 58 and kind of curvy, I guess thats where I got that from, I was only 411 and weighed around 140. I was short and curvy all of my weight was in my thighs, my breasts, and my butt, I was thin, honestly probably too thin. My hair and eyes were so different from my families, but they just said it was genetics, that moms family had light brown hair, and dads family had green eyes in it. Who am I to question genetics.

Well princess, look at you, all grown up, and ready for your last day at school! dad said proudly. Suddenly we heard a loud clank come from the kitchen and we both looked over at mom.

You okay mom? I asked looking over at her,

Dont you think shes a little too old for that nickname now dear? She said looking over to my father.

I looked over to her confused at what she meant by that, Its okay mom, I really dont mind. Its been my nickname for so long, Ive gotten used to it now. I said smiling at her.

Okay honey, as long as you dont mind it. She said sighing before walking to the table with a cake. She walked back across the room grabbing some bright colored candles and placing them on the cake in a pretty pattern. The cake read, Happy Birthday Ashlyn Juniper Lilith Walters.

You know mom, having them write out my full name almost seems like a punishment! I snickered. Why did you give me so many names anyways? I asked wondering how anyone could want to give their child such a long name.

Well Lilith was my mothers name, and Juniper was one of my dearest friends names. She is a kind hearted soul and I hoped that naming you after her would make you as kind and loving as her. she stated before lighting the candles and saying, Okay now enough with all the questions, time to blow out your candles.

Her and my father began to sing happy birthday to me, I cringed when they sang my full name as they always do, they both smiled at me as I blew out my candles and made a silent wish to have the best birthday ever. Just as I blew out my candles, my head started to spin and my stomach knotted up, I ran to the bathroom before collapsing over the toilet and throwing up nothing but stomach acid. My head spinning as I stood to my feet and rinsed my mouth out. I flushed the toilet, washed my hands and opened the door, walking back towards the kitchen, my head throbbed and I collapsed onto the floor, hitting my head hard, and my vision began to blur. I saw my mom and dad running to me before my vision went black.

When I woke up I heard the sound of beeping, and felt a sharp sting in my arm. I opened my eyes and saw that I was in a hospital room. My eyes finally focused and I could see my parents fighting with a doctor in the hallway, the door was closed but with my hearing being so good, I could hear them talking.

What do you mean she isnt my daughter? my father asked frantically?

Not his daughter, what did he mean? Theres no way, hes been here since I was born, mom was with him when she got pregnant, did she step out on my dad? Would she really do that? She always loved him so much, it has to be a mistake. Suddenly the voice from this morning chimes in again. It isnt a mistake, its the truth! I can tell, I can smell that he isnt our father. she stated.

What do you mean? Who are you? Why are you in my head? I asked earning me a look from the doctor and my parents.

My mom bursts in the door and my dad just walks away, What was that sweetie? We couldnt hear you?

I looked up, unsure of what to say, but suddenly I feel a shift in my own body, and it feels like Im put to the back of my own mind. Who is my father? my voice chimes out, but I didnt ask that. Well? my voice says again, then Im suddenly pushed back to the front of my mind just in time for me to earn a smack across the face. I look up tears in my eyes, and my face was stinging. Suddenly any guilt I felt for asking was gone. I knew that she had been lying to my father and I this whole time. I look back to her, she, realizing what she just did went to comfort me.

Im so sorry Ashlyn, I didnt mean to, it just... I cut her off.

No mom! It didnt just happen you hit me, youre hiding something from me. Now tell me, who is my father? I demanded my voice shaking the room.

We both look around wondering why the room shook like that, but her eyes settled back on me, and she whispered. Okay, but not here, I owe you and Rickard an explanation. She said walking back out into the hallway and asking the doctor if I was free to go. He nodded and went to get the paperwork, and signed off on us to leave. I got up out of the bed, and a nurse took the iv out of my arm, and unhooked all of the cables from me. We walked out of the hospital in silence and made our way to the car where my father was waiting for us.

Hey, dad. I said softly.

Hey princess, you feeling okay now? he asked choking back tears.

No, I said starting to cry. Mom, you have some explaining to do when we get home.

We pulled into the driveway, the whole car ride was nothing but awkward silence. I felt myself wanting to say something but couldnt find the right words. We walked into the house and dad and I sat on the couch, mom walked into the office and we heard some rumbling. After a few minutes she walked back out and we saw she was holding a small box. She sat down between my father and I, and sighed heavily. I hoped this day would never come, she said with tears welling in her eyes. She opened the box and pulled out a photo of a man easily around 18-19 and her, they were standing in front of the movie theatre in town. He had his arms wrapped around her, and she was leaning onto his chest. He was tall, had long light brown hair pulled up into a pony tail, and bright green eyes with yellow flecks, to say he looked like me was an understatement. This man was definitely my father, we could be twins. I looked to my father, he was crying so much, but not making a single sound. My mom dug around the box more and pulled out a photo album of him and her together. Right before Rickard and I got together I was dating this man. she started. His name is Maxis, he was my first true love. We dated for a while, and we were happy, I gave him everything, all of my love, affection, even my virginity. she said taking a deep breath, sadness tearing through her soul. One day he just disappeared. I never saw him again. I always wondered what happened to him. About a week later, I started dating your father. We had sex multiple times, so when I found out I was pregnant I just assumed you were his. She said looking at my father and I. But after you were born, you looked so much like Maxis, I almost sure that you were Maxis. I didnt want to even put that out there, I worried he might leave us too. So instead I let him believe you were his and never bothered with a paternity test. She finished sniffling. Your middle name Juniper is after Maxis mother, she was very kind to me while we were dating. She had the kindest soul, it only felt right that she should be a small part of her granddaughter. A couple of years ago I heard she was put in a hospital, she was ill. I went to go see her, I couldnt tell her anything, I couldnt bring myself to bring up the question. I did however ask her where I could see Maxis, that I needed closure. She reluctantly gave me his address, and I kept it all this time. She said pulling out a rolled up piece of paper.

I grabbed it slowly, and opened it up, it was somewhere in the forest in New Hampshire. I looked at it for a long time before putting it in my pocket. She pulled out a letter, and turned to me. Give this to him, if you go see him. She said. It just explains everything, it would be better if he heard it from me. she sighed before getting up and handing me the photo of the two of them.

I went to my room without a word and began packing some bags with, clothes, my tooth brush, hair brush, all my toiletries, and the photo and letter. I zipped up my bag, and walked downstairs. My father was still on the couch speechless.

Dad? I said pulling him from his thoughts.

Where are you going princess? he asked choking back tears.

I set down my duffle back and put a lock on my rolling suitcase. I walked over and sat down on the couch next to him and grabbed his hands. Dad, I love you, and youll always be my dad. But I have questions, I need to know who he is, and where he lives, why he left, if he knew he had a kid. I need these questions answered dad. he looked at me pitifully. His eyes brimming with tears that overflowed onto his cheek.

I know sweetie, you need to figure this out. I dont blame your mom for having a child with someone else, but I do blame her for never bothering to tell me. he said still crying.

I wiped his tears, Youll always be my dad! I said hugging him, his large frame engulfed me in a hug.

And youll always be my little girl! he said hugging me and kissing my head.

I stand grab my bags and walk to the door, grabbing my car keys off the kitchen counter and heading outside. I toss my bags in the trunk, and shut it. Sliding my flower purse with the letter and the picture into the passenger seat, as I jump in the divers seat before calling my friends and explaining everything.

Im sorry I wont be able to make it to graduation, or come with you guys tomorrow, why dont you guys take Damons boyfriend with you instead and it can be an even greater experience. I say starting my car.

Yeah sounds great Ash, Im sorry your birthday kind of got ruined by all of this. said Damon.

Dont worry about us, said Ripley. Go and find your dad, get your questions answered! she said. I pulled out of my driveway and tears were flowing down my face.

Thanks guys, I dont know what Id do without you. I said choking down my tears, trying not to sound too upset. I love you guys, Ill let you know when I make it there. I said hanging up the phone and turning on the radio. Fear, anxiety, depression, all of these things hit me like aa ton of bricks and tears just kept falling.

I drove from my house in Delaware to the forest in New Hampshire. This place was well hidden, and it was already after 600pm by the time I got there. I drove for seven and a half hours before finally reaching this huge stone wall. The forest outside of the wall was lush, and green. The sky a deep blue as it was getting dark outside. As I pulled up someone yelled out to me. Stop! I hit the breaks and came to a complete halt. I pull out my phone and send a text to my dad and my friends letting them know Im here. The man walked up to my window.

Who are you, and what are you doing in this territory. I looked up at the man, he had short deep brown hair, and his eyes were also a deep brown. I shook a little for a moment before remembering the photo in my bag. I pulled it out and handed it to him.

Im looking for this man. I have something I need to confirm with him, its of the utmost importance. I said sternly not wanting to claim he is my father until I knew for sure. He looked at the photo and his eyes grew wide. He turned away from me and walked over to another guard before walking back and handing me the photo.

How do you know him? he asked.

I actually cant say for sure until I speak with him. Its kind of a secret between my family. I said hoping his questioning was over. He looked up and his eyes flashed white, they looked like they completely glazed over. He looked back to me.

Very well, Ill take you to him. he said climbing into my passengers seat and signaling the other guards to let us through. As we drove through the gates he pointed to a large stone building. It looked like a castle, it was gigantic, made every other house in the town look incredibly small. The town was large, it had many stores and houses, lots of flower pots, and trees, and street lamps. The lamps letting out a dim glow as it was getting darker out now. As we made it to the front of the castle he pointed me to a parking spot and then got out of the car I grabbed my bag and followed him out. He looked down at me as I got out of the car and snickered.

What? I asked looking to him completely confused at what was so entertaining.

Youre so small! he said laughing. Ive never seen anyone so tiny, besides maybe children. he laughed.

I huffed and crossed my arms throwing my bag over my shoulder making sure the picture and the note were tucked safely inside. I was a sickly child so I didnt grow much. My height was stunted, and Ive been stuck this height since I was 12. I said causing him to look away quickly. Im not offended if thats what you think. Im used to being called short, my nickname in high school was Thumbelina because of my height, I said shaking my head, and thinking back to all of the bullying I received for just being small. That bullying made me tougher, so at least there is that.

He led me into the castle, there was a large entry way with a fountain in the middle and staircases on either side of it. The staircases went up to the fourth floor spiraling along the way, there was a branch off on every other floor so you can walk onto those floors as well. He walked with me up to the fourth floor of the building. He pointed to a large wooden door and said, Hes in there. Good luck, hes always grumpy now a days. Then he turned and walked back to the stairs, descending them quickly.

I turned to face the large door, and debated in my head if I was ready to face him. I let my emotions completely control me up until this point, and honestly wasnt quite sure if I was ready for this. I felt my body begin to move on its own, and my hearth fluttered with anticipation. I reached up to knock, then suddenly I heard a voice say, Alpha, you have to pick someone to take your place, you cant just leave everything up to chance. This is an important decision! the voice practically yelled but in a hushed tone.

I knocked loudly announcing that Im out here. Why did I do that? Im not ready! What do I even say to him? I wondered then suddenly the door opened and a tall, muscular man with deep brown eyes, and long black hair that was slicked back into a bun opened the door. He looked around then began to close the door. I quickly cleared my throat which earned me a glare from him.

Who are you? What do you want? he asked with a hateful tone to his voice.

Im looking for Maxis LaRoux. I said pulling out the letter and the picture and showing them to him.

Let her in. I heard an irritated voice coming from behind him. As he opened the door, I saw him. There was almost no doubt, he looks almost exactly the same as in the picture, just older. He shifted in his chair when he saw me and sat upright. Come in. he boomed.

I ran into the room like a little girl, I stood in front of the desk he was sitting at. Well? he said looking at me. Im waiting. Who are you? What are you doing in my territory? he yelled in an angry tone.

I-I... umm... I sputtered out some words but never made a coherent sentence.

Spit it out child, I dont have all day! he yelled again, sounding more angry by the second.

Hi, my name is Ashlyn Juniper Lilith Walters. I finally spat out. He shifted in his seat upon hearing the name Juniper. I brought you this, my mother says that youre my father. I said before handing him the letter and the picture. He eyed the picture for a minute and his eyes widened. He opened the letter and read it. His face looked increasingly more angry, and suddenly he jumped up and yelled in my face.

That isnt possible, I never fathered any children. Not even with my mate! he screamed walking towards me.

Mate? I asked confused. What are you talking about? I looked at him completely dumbfounded at his choice of words.

He looked at me with shock and anger, he looked as if he were about to explode. He walked over and sniffed me, literally sniffed me.

I took a step back and looked at him. You know its rude to sniff someone! I said aggressively.

He reached out and grabbed my around the wrist holding it too tightly. His nails were sharp like claws and he dug them into my skin causing me to begin bleeding. Were going straight to the pack hospital to get a DNA test, NOW! he yelled causing the room to shake, much harder than the hospital room shook earlier today.

Owe! I shrieked and pulled my arm back, but his grip didnt falter. Youre hurting me! I yelled. He looked back and noticed my wrist was covered in blood, as was his hand.

! he said under his breath. I didnt think, Im sorry. he muttered grabbing a tissue and covering my wrist with it and holding pressure down. Come on, lets get you to the pack hospital. He said, cursing under his breath.

Im What?

There you go again! I said kind of shakily. Words like mate, and pack, kind of weird dont you think? I say holding onto my wrist which was starting to hurt less. I kept pressure on it as we walked.

He turned to look at me confused, he was trying to figure out what to say, but it was almost like he didnt have the words, so he just gave up. After a few minutes of walking we make it to a huge hospital, and walk through the doors. Everyone looked to Maxis and greeted him calling him Alpha. What was going on here? I thought to myself. He lead me into the waiting room and asked for someone named Dr. Archuletta and stood at the desk waiting. Suddenly an older man, probably in his sixties walks in, wearing a long white jacket. He had hair that was greying on the sides, and brown on top, and round chocolate colored eyes, and oval shaped glasses.

Alpha. he said greeting Maxis.

Doctor Archuletta. Maxis said. I have something I need you to do, he said looking back at me while I was still holding the tissue around my wrist.

And who is this Alpha? he asked looking over at me, and noticing the bloody tissue. And what happened to her? he asked in a panicked tone.

My name is Ashlyn, I said cutting off Maxis as he began to speak, Ill be fine, truly, I heal pretty quickly and I dont think it was deep. Im just anemic so I bleed quite a bit. I said looking at him and refusing to look at Maxis.

The doctor looked at Maxis then at me, then back at Maxis. If a lightbulb moment were real, this was definitely one. He looked over again and said, She looks so much like you Alpha.

There you go, whats up with those words you all keep using? I asked completely over all of this. Alpha, pack, and mate? It makes no sense! They both look at me then at each other looking confused.

I will answer all of your questions once I know exactly who you are! Maxis says in a hushed tone. Doctor, we need a DNA test.

The doctor led us down the hall into a room and left, a few minutes later he came back in with a box filled with needles and vials. I shuttered remembering back to my childhood, all of the needles I had to get stuck in me because I was always so sick. I held out my arm and closed my eyes tightly. The doctor and Maxis both looked at me, they must have noticed how tense it made me.

So, you dont like needles? Maxis asked looking over to me, I opened my eyes lightly as I felt the needle enter my arm.

I was a very sickly child, I spent a lot of time in the hospital getting blood taken, and getting IVs, Ive hated needles ever since, I said as the doctor drew my blood.

Hmm, he kind of muttered under his breath. So Ashlyn Juniper, huh? Where did the Juniper come from? Maxis asked looking over to me as the doctor pulled the needle out of my arm and disposed of it. He walked over to Maxis and began drawing blood from him.

Mom said that she named me that to honor your mother, apparently she was very kind to my mother. I said, holding down the bandage on my arm. Is Juniper still alive? Mom said she was sick a few years ago. I asked.

The doctor took the needle out of his arm and disposed of it the same way he did mine. Yes, shes still alive, and depending on how this DNA test goes, maybe youll get a chance to meet her. he said looking at the doctor. The doctor nodded and took our vials of blood and waked out of the room.

We sat in silence for a couple of hours and the doctor came back in he was smiling brightly and looked down at his chart. Alpha, she has 50 of your DNA she is in fact your biological daughter. he said smiling brightly and looking to me and bowing his head.

Maxis looked like he had been hit with a boulder, he looked completely shocked. Tears filled my eyes and started cascading down my cheeks. I couldnt believe it, Maxis was my father. I didnt move my gaze from the floor until I heard Maxis get up from his chair. I looked up to meet his gaze, and he still looked like he was in shock. I have a daughter. he said. A daughter, I never had any children, never, but now I have a daughter, and I missed out on your whole life. he looked down to me and dropped to his knees in front of me. Im so sorry Ashlyn. he said choking back tears.

Tears were flowing from my eyes and out of pure instinct I jumped from my chair and ran past him, running out of the hospital and into the woods beside them. I leaned up against a tree and just cried. My heart hurt, my father wasnt my father, Maxis was. I felt bad for leaving him like that, but I couldnt look him in the eyes. I felt like I couldnt breathe, my lungs burned, and my eyes were blurry from the tears. I saw a figure running towards me, I couldnt see who it was, my vision started to go out, and I could just hear Maxis yell, Ashlyn! My body felt heavy and I couldnt catch my breath. I felt myself fall, and by the time I hit the ground I was already unconscious.

Maxis P.O.V

I ran out of the hospital after Ashlyn, for someone who claims to be sickly she sure was fast, or maybe I was just getting old. I mind-linked with my beta as soon as she ran out to keep an eye out for her, I saw her take off into the woods beside the hospital and started running after her, my beta Michael soon joining me, he was in the room with us earlier, so he already knew what she was claiming, but now that we knew it was true, it meant that I had an heir.

Where is she going Alpha? Michael asked.

I think she was shocked once the results came back, she is my daughter, and I dont think she was mentally prepared for that. I said looking around before seeing her leaning up against a tree. She looked like she was hyperventilating, her body was swaying back and fourth then suddenly she began to fall. I ran as fast as I could but I wasnt able to catch her before she hit the ground. Her body thudding against the earth beneath her was something that scared me to the core. I picked her up in my arms and Michael and I ran back to the pack hospital with her limp body dangling in my arms. I mind-link with the doctor and have him meet me at the door. Doctor, she passed out! I yell running back into the hospital.

Lay her here Alpha! He said pushing a hospital bed toward me. His team of nurses caught up to him and they all pushed her into a room, I watched as they hooked her up to an oxygen tank and hooked up a blood bag to her. She bled too much! said Doctor Archuletta as he looked at her arm where he drew blood at and where I accidentally dug my claws in here. Her whole side was covered in blood. This was a nightmare, it had to be, Ill wake up soon, right? After they hook her up and get her stable the doctor and nurses left I finally sat down and was able to breathe for a minute. Michael was standing at the door, he leaned on the side and looked down at me in the chair beside her.

So this weak child is yours? He said with a snarky attitude. I thought all Alpha children were supposed to be strong. he said jabbing at me again.

She is half human Michael, do you remember the woman I was with all of those years ago, the one I said I truly loved, and wanted to be with? I said looking at him.

He thinks for a minute then freezes, You mean, this is your child with her? he asked, shock apparent in his voice.

Yes, she is our daughter. I didnt think it was possible for me to have children, especially with a human! I said. What do I say to her, she doesnt know anything about this world, when I disappeared it was supposed to be forever, I dont even know if she has a wolf or anything like that. I say bending down and running my fingers through my hair. Do me a favor Michael, I said standing to my feet. Stay here with her, just until I get back. Im going to go ask the doctor what all he found on her blood test. I walked past him, and out the door. And dont tell her anything until after I speak with the good doctor. I walked off down the hallway and into Doctor Archulettas office. Doctor. I said entering.

He looked up from his desk and said, How can I help you Alpha?

I was wondering, is she human, or wolf? I asked holding my breath.

She is wolf sir, she just turned 18 so there is a possibility that she hasnt even noticed that she has a wolf. Today is apparently her birthday. I was able to check it when I requested her records. he said making my heart jump.

Today was her birthday and this is how she spent it, being hurt by me, and fearing me. I dont know what else to do. What should I do? Or say? I look back towards her room and the doctor says, Alpha, she doesnt know about our world, but I suggest you tell her, she is your only heir. he said looking back to the papers on his desk. I took that as my cue to leave, dont want to keep the good doctor busy, or keep Ashlyn waiting, as I started to walk back into the room I heard Michael talking, he was talking softly but I could still hear what he said.

Dont worry Im sure the Alpha will be right back, Ill go get him! he said rushing out the door and running directly into me. A-Alpha shes awake, shes crying, I dont know what to do! he said looking back towards the room.

I ran into the room and straight to her bed, Hey, shh, shh, its okay, youre okay. Im here for you, and Ill answer any questions you may have. She looked at me, how did I not notice before, she looks exactly like me, except shes very pale. My skin is tan, but she has the same hair color and eye color as me, and we look so much alike. Tears were still streaming down her face.

I-Im just really tired, and I dont like hospitals, can I stay somewhere else, anywhere else? she asked looking down at her hands and fidgeting with them.

I mind-linked with the doctor, and told him to come in here that she was awake. My eyes were glazed over and white, as soon as I finished mind-linking the doctor came walking in.

What was that? What did you just do? Your eyes! She screamed, and looked terrified.

Ill explain everything tomorrow, tonight you need rest. Doctor, can she go back to the pack house? I asked turning to the doctor.

Well everything looks fine on her monitors, and let me see... he trailed off unraveling Ashlyns bandages and looking at her completely healed wrist. I think that will be fine, shes all healed up now. he said and threw the bandages away.

What? I looked over at a shocked Ashlyn who was now studying her wrist, but how? How did it heal so quickly? she asked obviously worried.

As soon as Maxis left I went straight to the bathroom, I took off my now bloody clothes and tossed them in the sink, filling it up with water. Then I hopped in the shower and washed off my body so that way I wasnt covered in dirt and blood anymore. I got out and decided Id have a soak in the tub, I began filling it up with water, I then poured in some bubble bath. I figured Id leave the bathroom door open, I always hated closing all the doors, it makes me worry that someone could break into my room and Id have no clear escape route. I grabbed my phone, and turned on the music from my playlist, then laid it up on the bathroom counter. I hastily dipped down into the piping hot bathtub laying the soaps up on the side of it. My body was exhausted, it had been such a long day, and I just needed to relax. I sunk back into the bathtub and relaxed my whole body laying back and letting my long, light brown hair down from the now matted pony tail it was in. I soaked my hair down into the water and began to wash it, then ran some conditioner through it. I used a lot of conditioner because my hair was so long. The curls already becoming apparent in my hair, I then dunked my head under the water coming back out and rinsing all of my hair. Today was so stressful, it felt good to relax and just take a breather. I needed this, more than I thought I did.

Levis P.O.V
The Alpha asked me to go check on his daughter to make sure she was okay, he said that she may be in the tub so I should wait a while, but I figured I would go ahead and stand guard at her door until shes done. I turned the corner to the Alphas wing and I saw two men going into her room. They were already by her bathroom by the time I made it to her door. Suddenly the sweetest scent hit me I could hear music pouring out of the room and the sound so water. ! She was in the tub, I looked into the room and saw the two men peeking into the bathroom.

He looked up at me his eyes black as night, and I stepped back a few times which I think was a mistake. L-Levi? I stuttered out, too shocked to do anything but lay there under his crushing weight. He traced his tongue on my neck, making a soft moan escape my lips. Levi, s-stop! I said a little more breathy this time.

Laura jumped off the bed and grabbed a hold of Levis arm pulling him back. Levi, stop, get under control! Cant you see youre scaring Ashlyn? She screamed.

I looked to Laura, who was looking at me with a big smile on her face. Someone got excited! She said in a teasing tone.
