Even though the rhino is one of the most endangered species worldwide, in Namibia I was able to get two very closed encounters with them.
The first one was in Etosha National Park, where a crash of seven rhinos - yes, seven!! - were drinking water from a waterhole next to my campside.
The other one was in one of the many private conservancies around the country. Here, a group of four rhinos passed next to us and for one or two minutes they were standing not more than just a couple of meters away from me.
