GOD IS WILLING TO HEAL ME

Matthew 81-3 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. 2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Having seen in yesterdays study that God is a healer, that is, he is able to heal, it is then imperative to also understand his willingness to do so.
It is possible for a person to be able to do something and not willing to do it, similarly, a person may be very willing to do something yet not have the capacity or ability to get it done.
Observe that when Jesus came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. A preamble to this can be seen from Matthew 423-25.
Matthew 423-25 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. 24 And his fame went throughout all Syria and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy and he healed them. 25 And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
Therefore, in Matthew 81, Matthew recorded similarly that great multitudes followed him and in verse 2 a leper came to him and worshipped him saying if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean
So, from the above texts, the leper must have recognised Jesus as one who HEALS the sick for him to have made that statement.
Observe Jesus response while he touched him

The same account was recorded by Mark and Luke.
Mark 140-42 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will be thou clean. 42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
Luke 512-13 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
He the leper recognised Jesus as one who can heal, and asked Jesus responded I WILL which exemplifies an important fact of Jesus healing ministry that he wasis WILLING to heal, and the leper got healed cleansed immediately.
Jesus responded similarly when the centurion asked him to come and heal his servant.
Matthew 85-7 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, 6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

Note that Jesus said to him I WILL COME AND HEAL HIM shows his willingness to do so. Just as with all other accounts of Jesus healing the sick, Jesus never stated to anyone that he could not heal them at that time and that they had to wait till later or another time.
So, with the fact that God can heal which was demonstrated in Jesus earthly ministry is also the important fact that he is willing to, EVERY and ANY time.
While a person may acknowledge Gods ability to heal, heshe may not be convinced of Gods willingness to do so.
Therefore, I ought to affirm that healing is Gods ability and what he is willing to do.

CONFESSION
God is WILLING to heal me.
It is his will for me to be well, healed in my body.
I affirm Gods willingness to heal me from sickness and disease.
God wants me well today and I am healed.
AMEN.
