Born in Kaduna in 1960, Ahmed got her first degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University in 1981, after-which she proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University for her MBA. Ahmeds MBA was obtained in August 2004 from the Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye. With over 30 years experience in accounting and public finance management, Ahmed started out in the Kaduna State Ministry of Finance and has gone on to win one of the highest positions in federal government.
